It's amazing how much easier it was to get her through than it was for Justice Kavanaugh. The stakes are much higher on soon to be Justice Barrett.

I guess they didn’t have any sexual misbehavior allegations from high school waiting to unleash on us, with Judge Barrett.

It’s gone much more smoothly because we aren’t compelled to hit the pause button, reopen FBI investigations, or listen to a Christine Ford type character this time around.

It’s a shame Kavanaugh had to endure what he did, but that experience probably did make this one easier. Remember, the Democrats lost two Senate seats in the 2018 midterms, and they didn’t want such a bruising battle so close to the election.
