But you not really heard the word “indefatigable” in its full tonal glory till you’ve heard it said by the stirring Welsh narration of Richard Burton.
Jeff Wayne’s version of War of the Worlds is a rock and roll classic in several acts, some being played by the Moody Blues.
I’ve queued it up on a YouTube for you with a couple minutes warmup. You have to wait for the 7:25 minute mark to hear his rendition of the word.

Wonderful suspense, probably the feel of what it was like to only hear such dramas on the radio before the TV ruined our imagination.
