I know that the NRA has had controversy, but it is because of the NRA that we still have the right to carry.
I get it, that many members hate Wayne because they believe he is corrupt, but I say look at the results.

Definitely true - and if you choose not to support the NRA, then support GOA. And it's worth joining your State level organisation also, so you can be aware of what's happening at the State & local level. Consider any dues or contributions to be 'gun owners insurance', because gun owners' groups help protect our right to (guess what?) own guns. And protecting our existing rights is ten times cheaper than trying to buy a firearm or ammunition during some politics-based panic...
