Me, too!

I was in the very FIRST Co-Ed Basic Training Platoon at Fort Jackson, SC in 1978.

It was a lot of hard work dragging those boys along with us! ;)

I miss Army Life every day. Except for all the running, and maybe your 4am wake up call being your DI banging on a metal trash can...

There beginning August 77. That one thing is what they dogged us out with every single day. You're the last and we are NOT going to let you forget it. It is all water under the bridge now but then?, they were irritable.

I SALUTE YOU, SISTER-IN-ARMS.

FYI, I had one of the FIRST “coed” platoons of the Army’s MPs. = Our women did VERY WELL, largely because they wanted SO BAD to DO GOOD. - FREQUENTLY, they surpassed our MALE MPs, too.

Yours, TMN78247
