I’ve heard that somehow Facebook and Twitter are not held to the same legal standards as publishers of newspapers and magazines. And that legally, they can censor whatever people put on their sites.
And what’s with Facebook being a major purveyor of news anyway? I must be behind the times. I thought Facebook was for people to share stories of vacations and put up pics of the grandchildren and all that. Clearly Facebook has gone far beyond that.
Ditto Twitter, which I thought was for people to express themselves in 140 character bursts, on any subject they wished to comment on.
And the federally licensed control telecom has over the MSM continues to go unnoticed...
