Why even have legislatures?
Seriously, it would save everyone the hassle if we all waited on baited breath, complete with a trumpeter and a midget unfurling a scroll, and let Justices fricking rewrite laws and rule all over us.

Legislation passed by representatives provide standing or more precisely, cover for judicial equity/supremacy.

Article III was too short, more specific regulatory enumerations should have been in place to counter case law/promote restraint/protect the context of legislation.

Justices? Too checky and balancy. Keep the scroll, the trumpet and the midget, and let’s have an hereditary monarchy. Donaldus Magnus will serve for life or until assassination, whichever comes first, and then Don Jr. If there is any dispute, we have a war of succession. Each municipality will be a separate fiefdom, and instead of riots we’ll have jousting tourneys, only with Uzis and AR-15s. Due to power outages, we’ll go back to string and wind instruments for the music. Good news is Ian Anderson will still be able to play the flute.
