Much of western civilization has never seen it up close. They keep believing that a "kinder" marxism can work, that theSoviet Union doesn't really count, etc. And a lot of young people weren't even born then.

So let the Scots go down the tubes. All those western millenials will have a front row seat to see what really happens when their ideals are put into practice.
