They were willing to let him live if he kept quiet and had no copies. Now the only question is whether he will be killed/destroyed on fake charges as a warning to anyone else fighting the Deep State or ignored for fear of attracting more attention and anger.
And with Antifa feeling their oats, even if the DNC decides to allow him to live he might be killed by non-state actors.

I expect the FBI will frame that poor repairman as a “Russian agent,” and then release a fabricated forensic report on the hard drive saying it is undoubtedly Russian disinformation. And they might send 60 storm troopers to Rudy Gulianni’s house at 6:00am for good measure.
