Double tap!
You're lucky in that. Here in New York State, both Houses of the State Legislature are controlled by the Democrats. The Assembly has 150 Democrats, 2 Independent, and 43 Republicans. The Senate has 40 Democrats, and 23 Republicans. It's pretty bad.
One can only ‘regally’ carry in Chinatown.
And, “Forget it, Jake. It’s Chinatown...” ;)
Lets hope they go racist on us and outlaw the Black Panthers and their billy clubs.
The legislature is going to sue her... She doesn’t have the authority to suspend parts of the state constitution
I do not agree with such infringements on the rights of American citizens.
But it is at least rational and temporary. Unlike firearms licenses, “background checks,” bans or restrictions on particular or whole classes of firearms, ammo, etc
all of which infringements are totally and completely unconstitutional in my opinion. not only do they make a mockery of our liberty but they are positively dangerous in erecting roadblocks to people’s ability for self-defense
plus, they are awful bad omens of an outright tyranny to come
i swear...i always think about up state NY..thats gotta be so depressing..not too mention the 2 trash Senators. Just seems unfair.
By the authority of who’s going to do anything about it. That’s how tyrants roll.
The open carry of a firearm is prohibited in a polling place, in any hallway used by voters to enter or exit, or within 100 feet of any entrance to a building in which a polling place is located, according to the directive.”
Except...according to the LAW, she can shove her ‘directive’ up her @$$ with broken glass!
I and Mr Kimber will be voting on Nov 3rd, here in York, PA.
Here in Missouri, so far, we have this thing called statutes. Michigan sounds like a weird place. What country is it in?
Yep...New York City elects our State Senators. Al D’Amato was the last Republican Senator we had. He left in 1999.
Only pertains to white supremacists meaning (all whites)
I know a guy who ran for re-election for a small township office in Michigan. He open carried at the polls while campaigning.
He’s going to test the system I’m sure. He lives in a county that’s not going to enforce. Especially against the sitting member of the council.
The ban isn’t on carry, its on open carry.
“By what authority can this directive be valid?”
Protection of the voters from intimidation. Most States have this law.
Get your baseball bats out and go in groups, Michiganders.
Kill anyone who blocks access to your poll.
They don’t want Antifa getting hurt while they are trying to suppress the voting from the right.
