SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — A free speech demonstration staged by conservative activists quickly fell apart in downtown San Francisco on Saturday after several hundred counterprotesters surged the area, outnumbering and attacking those gathered, including knocking one in the mouth.
A photographer working for The Associated Press witnessed an activist with Team Save America taken away in an ambulance and an injured San Francisco police officer on the ground by San Francisco’s United Nations Plaza.
Team Save America organized the rally to protest Twitter, which it said squelches conservative speech.
Members of the group wore red “Make America Great Again” Trump campaign hats and carried pro-police “Thin Blue Line” flags and U.S. flags.

Who were these “critics” who were never named?
For us, Free Speech means being able to say “I support the president” or perhaps “I don’t like Joe Biden”.
For them, Free Speech means using violence to make sure we can’t speak.
Just as evil as the similar incidents in Ithaca today.
Need to not be careless with our lives.
Like I’ve said before. Is it fair not be able to march or rally wherever you want?
No.
But it isn’t fair that I can’t walk in any neighborhood in a number of places at 3am without fearing getting mugged.
Kids have lost their parents and many have been injured at these rallies.
For what? Was it a battle? Then something is accomplished.
It’s wasn’t. Just good people get hurt and/or die.
They can’t vote. They can’t be there for kids or wife or anyone else ever again.
They can’t partake in the REAL hot civil war if it comes.
Do not be careless with your lives.

there was a similar assault on pro-Trump demonstrators in Ithica NY on Friday. Why aren’t the dems EVER asked to disavow, and condemn those organizations which engage in violence against peaceful protesters?
You can bet that not a single FOX reporter will ever ask the dems. No one on FOX will ever report these attacks. The best we can hope for is maybe a mention by Tucker Carlson.

If the free speechers were looking to illustrate their point, the Antifa types obliged with their knuckle-dragging denial of speech.
The phrase “quickly fell apart” is editorializing, not straight reporting.
Man, they don’t make conservatives like they useta....
The hell with the Proud Boys...what is needed is the minority to stage a rally against these anti 1st amendment thugs.
100s of Millions of Americans believe in the 1st, let them all rally and have these thugs try to attack them
