The Brooklyn Catholic Diocese sued Cuomo and produced some incredible admissions, via OJPAC.

“NY GovCuomo’s Howard Zucker admits in a brief in the Brooklyn Catholic Diocese case that “there is no specific percentage threshold to determine when an area should be designated as an orange or yellow zone.” Basically, Cuomo is making up rules and maps based on mood,” OJPAC tweeted.

Zucker is the Health Commissioner for New York.

OJPAC also noted that, “A Senior Department of Health Director revealed yesterday in court that Hot Zone maps are made in NYGovCuomo’s office.”

Specifically, the decision as to which zones get labeled which color came out of Cuomo’s office. These were political decisions, not medical ones.

It’s real simple. Quarantine is when you restrict the movement of sick people. Tyranny is when you restrict the movement of healthy people. Stupidity is when you cannot tell the difference.*

Lab Coat Tyranny: California is using “public health” as a rationale to push progressive political goals.

Public health authorities in California have unveiled a “Blueprint for a Safer Economy” that requires counties to meet new “health equity metrics” in order to emerge from the current Covid-19 lockdowns.

It’s a broad experiment in social justice. Under the plan, counties must reduce “disparities in levels of transmission” in “low-income, Black, Latino, [and] Pacific Islander” communities before they can move forward with reopening. In effect, local businesses must remain closed until local bureaucrats are satisfied that ill-defined racial quotas have been met.

The underlying assumption of the blueprint is that race-based coronavirus disparities are the result of “systemic racism,” despite zero evidence that the state’s coronavirus policies have been discriminatory.

The plan ignores potential differences in culture, behavior, and underlying health, resting instead on the premise that racism is the driving force behind every disparate outcome.

The blueprint also subverts the democratic process. Un elected public health officials are restricting essential freedoms, including mobility, worship, and economic activity, without deliberation by the state legislature or the possibility of review or appeal.

Unfortunately, the California blueprint is just part of a broader pattern of state governments using public health as a rationale for seizing power.

Throughout the pandemic, blue-state politicians have appealed to science as justification for long-term economic lockdowns, mask mandates, and other emergency measures, regardless of whether these policies have been sanctioned by state legislatures or voters. Science becomes the highest authority; citizens must obey.

I’m glad they are addressing systemic racism against Pacific Islanders. Gravity has been systemically discriminating against Samoans for a long time.

There ought to be a law against it.

Based on this information, Cuomo needs to be sued personally under Title 42, Section 1983 for “infringement of civil rights under color of law,” which carries personal liability - his office doesn’t protect him because he was violating the law and using that authority, that trust, to do so.
