“What’s wrong with these suburban women?”

These “suburban women” are not motivated by principle, only pragmatism. They were Democrats in their freewheeling 20s, when they liked being free to abort their babies to avoid responsibility, and rely on the government as a surrogate husband.

Now that they are older and married, they become Republicans because they want to pay less in taxes and keep criminals out of their town. Still, this is only because it benefits them, not based on any particular set of principles.

Yes. Also, women are hard-wired biologically to seek high status, for the protection of their young. They are very susceptible to social pressure due to this. So media has a large impact on their thinking, because they don’t want to be in the “out group.”. They also see high-status males that are weak and able to be manipulated (and therefore useful) positively. High-status males who are not easily manipulated (like Trump) are a threat, and therefore disliked.

This wiring has far more powerful consequences in unmarried women or “liberated” women with weak husbands. If you look at married women, they are far more conservative and positive towards masculine and powerful males (because of the safety their own relationships bring). They vote for Trump overwhelmingly. It’s the women surrounded by weak males who have no clue how to handle someone like Trump, and so react negatively and defensively...
