Unexpected!
I was just in Target and noticed that the Halloween costume aisles are still full - I remember by this time last year it had been cleaned out - I mean it was fully stocked and didn’t look like a single Halloween costume had even been sold. Not a single person was browsing the aisles.
Same for the cat and dog costumes.
Why on earth would anyone waste money on “back to school” spending for remote learning? Unless it’s for a faster internet connection....
Our local schools are already back in person in full force. The Catholic school opened Aug 1. Local schools reopened last month. NO PROBLEM. School buses running. I heard that Austin schools are reluctant about opening. We are in a tiny town N W of Austin, but inside Travis County.
The election may be won or lost by Karens. The Karens fuel Covid and BLM agendas.
I’m tutoring a kid who’s been in school virtually until last week. Now it’s half and half.
It’s horrific. The kid is doing terribly.
Some people can stand to not spend hundreds of dollars on clothes for a new school year.
I shudder when I remember how much my parents had to spend on one little boy + a preteen, and another fashion conscious high school girl, just to go to school.
