Just because water gets into your laptop and zaps the mainboard doesn’t mean your data is gone. It just means it’s not going to boot up, specially if it has a solid state HD, which most laptops of later build do.
Question is, if the data was duplicated, where is it, and who got this besides the FBI?
The FBI will make it their business to obtain every copy out there, not necessarily for nefarious reasons

Not defending Fox at all, but FF discussed it at the top of the 7am hour, also mentioning how they were sure none if the other networks were covering it. I hope they get back on it and stay on it!
