Graham facilitated Democrat control of the “Trump” DOJ for over 2 years. Democrats used that power to assault POTUS and his supporters. Lives were ruined because of the actions of Graham. George Papadopolous’ wife miscarried after a brutal session with Mueller’s FBI goons, General Flynn still in legal jeopardy, etc., etc. Yet now we are supposed to put Graham’s behavior down the memory hole and make ourselves prostrate before the great man? Yeah, no.

Graham was a POS on the Mueller farce, like many Republicans he couldn’t wait to get behind the “Russia Russia canard” being promoted by the media, never-Trump Republicans and the Clinton campaign.

However a Senator Harrison would have voted to remove Trump during the impeachment hearings. Every Senate Democrat voted to undo the 2016 election.

Graham with all his flaws is a much better Senator then Harrison will ever be.

“I’m confident that a LOT of people at FR would go for this third party candidate sight unseen, even if it cost us the seat.”

A bird in hand... is better than 2 in the bush. It would split the vote and the dem would fill the seat. The right needs to play strategically rather than face defeat.

am completely confident you are wrong. To possibly give the senate to Democrats while we have a Republican president that is for real and willing to nominate as many conservative judges as possible would be absurd and stupid.

The vast majority here are not absurd and stupid.

Take the idealistic stand another day.

One would have to be an ass to take that stand right now

Kavanaugh and Gorsuch have already voted with the Democrats on very important cases. Counting GOP judicial chickens is a fools errand.

Graham’s actions during President Trump’s first term raise serious questions about how he would behave during Trump’s second term. Will he attempt to block Barr’s firing as he did with Sessions? Will he continue to give top cover to the ongoing coup? The answer to both those questions is most likely yes. Frankly, Lindsay Graham deserves to lose. He will likely be pulled over the line by GOP voters only to stab us in the back again at his leisure. That’s who he is and who we are.

“I hope the people of South Carolina are not stupid enough to fall for this.”
........
They have been stupid enough to vote on and on for two-faced lowlife/backstabber Lindsey Graham.

Neocons desperately try to convince us that conservatives are obliged to be RINO backstabbers’ useful idiots.

That's the EXACT same circumstance I've been dealing with from another poster. There are people all over this site with purity tests. I am truly baffled how people are so incapable of seeing the fact that voting against Graham or Collins is only going to result in a Senate minority. Some people are truly fricking stupid! "Let's screw over Trump, conservatism & opposing the left so that I can throw a tantrum because somebody isn't my ideal type of righty". Then they come around & complain that we lost an election & majority & blame it on someone else! Faceplant 🤦🏼

It’s a strategy.

Not unlike when conservative groups pushed liberals to Nader in 2000 or Democrats pushing conservatives to the Libertarians, or Kanye West running to pull votes from Biden.

It’s just triangulation.

It's unfortunate, but there are some folks that would screw their own side over just to make a point. It's asshattery! I think we are going to win, but I'm sick of seeing fools like that post on here. If we weren't at a literal crossroads with everything on the line, I don't think I'd be quite as bothered by people who want to take moral stands. But right now? Are they serious? I'm baffled by it 🤦🏼

Yeah, Linda needs to be supported by conservatives- if they want a conservative outcome.

You can't seriously be this stupid, can you? So a newly elected Democrat Senator & a Democrat Senate majority that would happen because you needed to protest is getting you closer to where you'd ideally like to be? 🤔

Good points but...
Harrison would be worse. Much worse.

No fan of Linda here.
But no fan of fantasy either.

No, you are ABSOLUTELY right! A Republican Senate m i n o r i t y makes so much more sense. No control over the agenda is a superior position to be in. We should screw ourselves over, that'll show em!! 🙄
