It was pretty nice here. The sunlight was almost painful after not having clear skies for a while. Almost knocked me down when I opened the curtains when I woke up.
Yes....I had that ~~~~shudder~~~~ moment. LOL!
It got up to 90. It was pretty stuffy under that mask waiting to get into the building at Ace Hardware where we were lined up to vote. Thank goodness the line moved very fast. I feel so good to have it done.
I’m glad you had some sunshine. It can be painful when you’re used to the clouds. We’ve forgotten what that’s like. LOL!
Yuck! I thought you might get a couple of comfy days out of the deal. Maybe fall will be back to stay before much longer.

Glad you didn’t have to wait long to vote. I’ve seen that some places have LONG waits.
Our early voting starts tomorrow and the Republican women’s group has a tent set up by the polling place for our county. I’ll be working the afternoon shifts there the next couple of weeks and cant wait. Always lots of fun.
And I need to hop in the shower so I don’t have to get up any earlier in the morning than I already have to. Back in a bit.
Sounds like a lot of fun to work with the rest of the R women. At least you’re working afternoons so you don’t have to give up your vampire status for the time it takes. LOL!

Hi! Hidden talent: Rebellion.
It’s loads of fun and is my favorite activity with the group. We all have a blast talking to the folks who stop by the tent on their way in to vote or on their way out. The weather forecast looks really good for the next week, at least, and that’s a plus.
Most of the gals are early birds so the mornings are covered well. No problem keeping my schedule somewhat. I do have to get up early-ish, though, but not at the crack of dawn.

We had a great visit to Chisolm Trail Park yesterday. Gizmo wanted to walk all the way over to the lake overlook but I couldn't let him. We had fun though. Here are some pics from the visit.

I was afraid we weren’t going to do it this year because it had been discussed with no decision made. But we’re going ahead with it and I’m pumped.
I still have to get up earlier than I like which means trying to go to sleep early. That just isn’t easy at all but I’ll survive. :-)
