Like you I am in the Pittsburgh area.
It’s a bit disconcerting to see how Biden yard signs vastly outnumber Trump signs in the South Hills. My theory is that it’s a combination of Democrat block captains doing a yeoman’s job of cajoling anyone with a government job into taking one, and people afraid that some ANTIFA kook will firebomb their house if there is a TRUMP sign out front.
I am very disappointed in Mt Lebanon. It used to be a Republican stronghold; now the residential main drag is covered with Biden signs.
The signs weren’t available until Sleepy Joe made his VP pick known. President Trump’s signs were available two years ago. So when their signs became available, the Democrats swung into action.
This is based on my experience of driving a school bus around town for the past three months. Bedford, New Hampshire will vote solidly Republican in November. But right now, there are 3 times as many Biden signs around town. They were put there by four guys working out of two pickups. Both trucks were completely outfitted with power tools, an air compressor, and plenty of lumber. Each sign was professionally framed and securely anchored. These guys chose prime locations, including front yards of known snowbirds. As a finishing touch, they added small American flags along the top of each frame. And, for some strange reason, as more Biden signs went up, more Trump signs disappeared.
There is a silver lining in this dark cloud. Some local candidates are complaining to the police that their signs are disappearing. I’ve seen the patrol cars parked at the prime sign locations, with the officers outside, snooping around. So I stopped at the police station and gave them the plate numbers of the two pickups. It felt good. 🇺🇸🇺🇸
I came home from work and drove down a major street and the neighborhood was awash in Biden signs. I thought to my self...ah, some Biden captain must have walked the streets. That there were Biden signs in that neighborhood came as no surprise.
