Good point. BTW, that same Navy couldn’t land jets on their own aircraft carriers for about 2 years. They didn’t know how. They had to land their jets on shore and have them craned back on board. They still have limited training and flight arrestors.

Their carriers are also oil burners and need to be refueled nearly every day. It will be many years before they have a legacy of training and equipment to use carriers offensively.

China’s military tech is only as good as what they can steal, and the good stuff like stealth tech is kept from them, that’s why they cannot make stealth work nearly as well as US stealth tech. Its the same as the cold war, the commies then chose numbers over technology, and today’s commies are making the same mistake. Western tech, when all our new platforms, weapons, sensors and comms are deployed will get our tech advantage back to 25 to 35 years ahead. China, due to being communist, and the first priority is to protect the Party, will continue to make the same mistakes the Soviets made. And woe be the CCP if they start a shooting war, if they do the world is going to see some weapons and systems quickly deployed that nobody has any idea we possess.
