I was a Sportsman’s Warehouse yesterday and the place was completely stripped of ammo. The one at St. George, UT had one 50-round box of 22LR tracers and a couple of dozen boxes of 12 ga birdshot - and that was IT.
The only positive was that no one wore masks, and the sense of normalcy was exhilarating.

Be careful what you wish for: anedoctal evidence suggests that the current uptick is due to Antifa/BLM arming themselves — which is why gun control has dropped off the radar as a campaign issue.
