This is bizarre. The headlines are already written: “racist Trump attacks black woman moderator.” Although, I see she is biracial. Once again we see POTUS being poorly served by his White House staff.
Nothing changes. I thought Trump would have enough balls to refuse these moderators. Their bias is no secret.
If she was part of the White House press corps that peppered him with questions, then the President at least agreed to a “devil he knows.” Same with Chris Wallace: another imp he knew how deal with. Not sure about Steve Scully. But Scully we now know had ties to Scaramuchi (sic) so possibly Trump had an angle on him, too.
