#10. Come to think of it, the Democrats have screwed all the American people. Who do they think they are, Kamala Harris, Gavin Newsom, and Ted Kennedy?

I’ve seen it happen 2 or 3 times to married acquaintances, coworkers, and to me, once. “He/she will never find out. I’m too smart to get caught...”
And when it all comes crashing down and their life, and the lives of others unfortunate enough to be caught in the ****storm, is in ruins they haven’t once blamed themselves. Not once.
It’s some kind of pathology. I’m sure the head doctors have a name for it. And they never, ever seem to learn from it.
So instead of just walking away from a bad relationship or, heaven forfend, just being honest with their spouse (“Hey honey, I’m bored and want to get some strange. How about you?”) they destroy their careers, lose friendships, do serious damage to their kids, trash their reputations, and just create general mayhem.
Then they blame someone, anyone but themselves. I watched it happen to a senior VP at a company I worked for. Banging a female manager who reported to him. Both were married, 5 kids between them, great jobs, fat salaries and benefits. Combined they made well over $400,000 a year. He was padding his expenses to pay for hotel trysts, fine meals, “work trips” for “training” with her and the like.
Another one of his subordinates turned them in when she was passed over for a well deserved promotion. So they both got fired. They both had their spouses file for divorce. Lost their homes, their kids were devastated, and 2 families were shattered all so he could get some in the side. And she wasn’t even that good looking. Neither was he come to think of it.
I used to feel sorry for people like that. I don’t anymore. Stupid is supposed to hurt.
