Here in Illinois I’ve been waiting for a CCL renewal since January.
First time FOID approvals are taking 4 months.
It’s utterly ridiculous.

I think your CCL is still valid pending issuance of the renewal, IF you submitted your renewal application prior to your original CCL’s posted expiration date.
