the loss of actual revenue from tickets, etc are just now starting to sting

here in WA, the Seahawks expect to lose about $100M if no fans

the NFL told the owners that they were prepared to spread out projected losses over the next 5 years

You would think that a bean counter somewhere in the NFL would be sounding the alarm bells by now.

Loss of revenue all across the board while they are contractually obliged to pay the millionaire players.

Insulting their paying customers is not a good business model. 5 years is a pipe dream. There will be bankruptcies all over the NFL in those 5 years. And a lot of out of work players, coaches and trainers.

Then they can all thank Kapernick and Goodell for their new careers.

Spread out losses over the next 5 years with the permanent loss of revenue is a great plan. Wait for them to tell the players that “pay is going to be reduced.” HaHa! Then the players go on strike! MLB and NBA strike too!
There will be widespread sales of fancy property.
Stay tuned!

Com’on man, the NFL and Goodell are about to go under.
Poor choices reap poor rewards.
