The Trump administration announced it will ban members of any foreign Communist party from immigrating to America. This includes the Chinese Communist Party. The new policy took effect on October 2.
The Trump administration’s Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) announced an update to the USCIS Policy Manual stating, "to address inadmissibility based on membership in or affiliation with the Communist Party or any other totalitarian party."
"Membership in or affiliation with the Communist Party or any other totalitarian party is inconsistent and incompatible with the Naturalization Oath of Allegiance to the United States of America, which includes pledging to “'support and defend the Constitution and laws of the United States,'" USCIS noted.
“In general, unless otherwise exempt, any intending immigrant who is a member or affiliate of the Communist Party or any other totalitarian party (or subdivision or affiliate), domestic or foreign, is inadmissible to the United States," the release added.

Will this apply to H1B visas, because there a ton of people who come over hear from China on an H1B visa and stay.

If it is just “is” a member all they have to do is renounce membership and say say that they had just joined in the past as a requirement to find a job and work and that they don’t really believe in it..

That’s not really effective. As Chinese American, I advise that all direct relatives of communist party members be banned from immigrating to america.

As Chinese American, I also advise that all direct relatives of communist party member who have already immigrated into America be deported and assets be frozen (confiscated later). That is a lot of money, billions, if not trillion.
China will retaliate by banning US communists from traveling to China. Democrats nationwide are trying desperately to get refunds on their flights as we speak.
