It is noteworthy that he took a veiled shot at Creepy Joe by saying he didn't opt to stay in the White House and just rest and veg out.

But....Did anyone notice at 0:55 he says

"We're gonna beat this Coronavirus or whatever you wanna call it..."

Not China Flu, not Wuhan Flu..but Coronavirus.

While some may feel this is Trump backsliding, keep in mind that after the assasination attempt on Reagan, he wrote a very personal letter to Brezhnev

“My Dear Mr. President,” he said in the Brezhnev letter, “I regret and yet can understand the somewhat intemperate tone of your recent letter. After all, we approach the problems confronting us from opposite philosophical points of view. Is it possible that we have let ideology, political and economical philosophy and government policies keep us from considering the very real, everyday problems of the people we represent?”

I'm not saying Trump is backing down from his beliefs. But perhaps the President is feeling a bit of a kinship with the millions of people who've had this nasty bug, much in the same way people who've walked in similar shoes feel toward each other.

Indeed, I never doubted that Trump deeply cares about good people....maybe this situation is bringing out that empathetic side in him to an extent where rhetoric takes a backseat.

If so, he is in good company. And insofar as he took a shot at Biden, he's still full of piss and vinegar.
