Andrew Yang has a message for all of the lawmakers who have still not been able to agree on another stimulus package. Yang, who recently campaigned to become the Democratic nominee for the presidency, urged politicians to pass an economic relief bill as "people are hurting" amidst the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Lawmakers have been trying to agree on a stimulus package over the last several months. Still, Democrats and Republicans disagree on many aspects of the next bill, including the total price point.

President Trump has managed to turn this whole issue around without spending a dime of tax dollars by holding the line on demanding a smaller overall package, but one that includes more stimulus checks. So when all the House members and Senators are battling for reelection, the Democrats are having to defend why they’re blocking GOP efforts at sending thousands of dollars to families. Meanwhile, Pelosi doesn’t want to give in, so she’s forcing them to hold their votes even as they watch the issue drive a wedge with their voters.
If they break with the Democratic leadership and vote for the GOP stimulus, the Democrats look weak and we win. If they stick with their leadership and continue blocking, many of them will lose their races and we win. Brilliant!

Seniors got shafted. Especially Military, What good is a $200 Medical card? All we have are Co-Pays. Highest about $60. And those cards don’t work on Medicare/Tricare Life. For some it would be used up with 1 Med Order. We get most meds at Base Pharmacy, no charge, Express Scripts set Co-Pays.
For others it wouldn’t pay for a month of Humalog Flexpen.
We hurt most at Grocery store. Meat is overpriced, TP, Dog Food, many items not in store.
Americans don’t “deserve” better. Americans who WANT better can work for it like the rest of us.
I sympathize and I’m feeling it too with my grocery bill and so on. I’m not a huge fan of the Federal government raining down helicopter dollars on everyone, but some targeted stimulus and tax cuts can be a good idea in specific circumstances.
My main point was about President Trump managing to take an issue where the Democrats had a clear advantage and turn the whole thing against them. They put out that enormous $3,400,000,000,000.00 (yes that’s the actual number) relief bill that was an absolute Christmas tree of Democrat policies mixed with actual aid. President Trump and the GOP came back with a much smaller, more targeted package focused more on getting money into the hands of Americans so they can spend it and move the economy forward. Pelosi wanted her whole $3.4 Trillion Christmas tree and refused to budge because she thought she had the upper hand.
Except now there was a proposal in hand for money going out to people, which the Democrats have been blocking. So now her own members are asking to break the stalemate and go with President Trump’s proposal and she’s telling them no. That’s not going to fly with people who need the money. That’s voters. The HEROES bill filed back in May was going to help the Dems with those voters. Now the whole issue has been flipped and it’s hurting them.
You are forgetting one important factor.
There is no way in hell Pelosi is going to let Trump give the American people more money BEFORE the election.
Something might happen middle November or December, but no way BEFORE.

She was to get half, He got his drug dealer who is a woman to sign her Income tax papers, she got nothing, she reported them to IRS. Name and Address for the dope dealer, his full info to IRS. Judge made him give her $500. She us DSSI soon to be in wheelchair. He forced her to give up the house which she made the payments on. 2 kids, eldest 15 then 14 when divorce procedures began. Dirty judge, councilor, once DHS is involved lawyers scatter like cockroaches when you turn on lights. He beat his son, kneed in Gonads places bruises wouldn’t show. Gavin has Duchenne’s Muscular Dyshoprathy, not yet at wheelchair stage. He wants partial custody for income tax money. Stole their joint 2018 one. Has Gavin’s bank account tied up in his name. Kid can’t even get it out or a statement. Probably stole most of it. Was saving for a car he would never drive, that is part of what he doesn’t understand about his disease. Nor that by 40ish he will Die. COVID got his $70 K yr job, he took Gavin’s mowing jobs instead of finding a real job. Stalking them. Kids are scared. Gavin sleeps with a butcher knife close by. Girl is nearly 10 and nieve.
