Hang the sob at the IRS who leaked this.

It was not leaked by the IRS. Look at the signature block on page 2 near the bottom. It is stamped "Client Copy". And, while the name and address of the preparer are blacked out, the signature block for the preparer is not signed and is not blacked out. Mine are like this every year.

A return actually filed with the IRS would have DJT's signature, Melania's signature, and the preparer's signature.

There may not even have been one filed with the IRS, it may have been done electronically.

This one could be from DJT's files, from the preparer's files, or he may have included it with a loan application, but it did not come from the IRS.

I predict this headline will run in the MSM concerning the 2005 tax return:

“Trump paid only $2,292,945 in 2005 on total income of $38,435,451, a measly 5.9%”.

Now the facts from the tax return:

Total taxable income-$38,435,451, (includes $31,263,179 alternative minimum tax.)
Total paid during tax year 2005-$36,142,506(income tax withheld, quarterly payments, extension filing payment etc).

Payment made at time of filing tax return-$2,292,945

I may have got some of the numbers wrong/confused, but that is a lot of money to pay in Alt. Min. Tax.

It didn’t come from the IRS. It’s unsigned, and it says “Client Copy” on the stamp.

Trump is going to bring up how the Bidens became multi-millionaires while being public servants for 40+ years.

How did Biden’s relatives become multi-millionaires as well?

I do not care about what Trump paid/did not pay. Did he cheat on his taxes? Apparently no.

Did Biden cheat the US voter by selling his influence? Apparently yes.

$2.5 million to do those taxes? Jeez, it’s good to be the 1% (jealous as in I want a high income, not communist jealous).

Ray Madcow had this a few years ago and was upset.

When Rachel Maddow first reported on this 2005 tax return a couple of years ago, someone mentioned that the return was mailed to MSNBC in an envelope with a postmark from the U.S. post office near Trump Tower. LOL.

Trump should force the release of all the politicians returns, including the Supreme Court justices.

IIRC, Hillary and Billy Boy submitted corrected Tax data for their foundation. Also, she donated $1 million to the foundation and took it as a Charitable deduction.

Its stamped “client copy,” it’s not from the IRS.

The IRS would only have the original signed copy. This one is stamped CLIENT leading me to believe the leaker is someone he did business with.

That return is not signed by preparer and it’s a client copy. Prepares are required to sign copy given to clients. Something isn’t right about this copy.
