Realistic ways to a tie

The most realistic path to a tie would be for Trump to lose PA and MI, which were his narrowest wins in 2016, and the Omaha district, which he is supposedly doing very poorly in — it being an entirely suburban district chock full of suburban Karens.

Then, with everything else being identical to 2016, we would have a tie.

Yup this tells me the demonrats have no intention of winning by the Electoral College. They're going to screw up the voting process so Trump can't get 270 electors then they'll use vote fraud to change enough Republican legislaters to demonrats so they can choose the president via Congress. Before that Biden will be removed and Harris will become president. Then they'll remove Pence one way or another and then replace him with somebody of there own choice.🙄

I could be misremembering but I believe the article is wrong. It is not that none gets a majority of EV, it is that none breaks the threshold, in this case, 270 EV. The distinction mostly matters if you have strong 3rd parties as you note. However, there are also a number of scenarios where you end up with Trump and Biden each getting 269 EV in which case it gets thrown to the house, even without a strong 3rd party.
