Obviously if the Times has his tax returns then they must know that they have been transmitted to them illegally. So, the question is do you enjoin the Times from publishing them and force them under law to return them and destroy all copies in their possession. Unquestionably Trump should privately sue them in a multi billion dollar suit if they use them to advance their commercial interests.

AFAIK, there is no LEGAL way to obtain someone’s tax return.
My supposition is that the NY Slimes paid somebody at President Trump’s accounting firm to get this info.
