Thanks for thread A.B. I would have chosen Cuban-American Lagoa and watched the Dems trash a fine wise Latina woman. Less baggage than Amy, but Amy is the real deal. We can safely predict she will be Conservative for life, unlike squishy Roberts and others who were picked ostensibly for their Conservative record or cred, and turned sour so they could get invited to the DC cocktail circuit.
The democrats better not put her through the ringer. If so, Linda needs to stop them cold and Mitch can go directly to a vote.
They have the votes, so why hold hearings? The only two possibilities:
