My home in Portland is going up for sale in less than 3 weeks. I hope I get a deal before the election. I was born here, spent almost my entire adult life here. Portland left me and I don’t want to wait for BLM to march up my street and demand I “take a side” or else.

Only Portland is inhospitable, right? You can live anywhere else in Oregon.
A hard decision. I understand that it is difficult, but if you want to go on living it is your only choice. I hope you get out in time.
My ultra-liberal daughter still loves Portland. She went to the U of O in Eugene about 15 years ago and she went to Portland many times. She lives in CA and wants to move to Portland in the next ten years. She refuses to admit there is a problem there and the “little” problem there is limited to downtown. She does not want to hear dad’s opinion on what kills cities, states and countries. She refuses to believe that the cancer spreads out from downtown to all the surrounding towns and the whole area goes into the toilet in the coming years.

BLM won’t just march up the street and demand you take a side. They will simply win election in Portland and officially persecute and prosecute you if you don’t do what they say.
It sucks, but it’s time to go.
