Wyoming Rep. Liz Cheney on Thursday joined Republican and Democratic legislators in criticizing President Donald Trump's comment about whether he would commit to a peaceful transfer of power if he loses the Nov. 3 presidential election.
Trump told reporters on Wednesday that he would “have to see what happens" when asked about whether he’d commit to a peaceful transfer of power.
Thursday morning, Cheney responded to the comment in a tweet:
"The peaceful transfer of power is enshrined in our Constitution and fundamental to the survival of our Republic. America’s leaders swear an oath to the Constitution. We will uphold that oath," Cheney wrote.
She is the Chairwoman of the House Republican Conference, the third-ranking Republican in the House of Representatives.

Excellent question. He should have been prepared with a powerful zinger , like “I’m worried along with you that Biden won’t agree to peaceful transfer. Hillary publicly told him not to concede, and I haven’t heard him reject that outrageous advice, have you?”
So many of Trumps controversies are double setbacks - he gives a garbled answer that gives his opponents ammunition - and he does so instead of using the opportunity to give a well crafted devastating reply that would make his opponents wimper and retreat.

I'll go so far as to say that - like most two-term Presidents - Trump will not be able accomplish much more in office in his second term. A major depression is on the doorstep, and no one can fend it off through mere political action.
If the Trump-McConnell team can remain in place and put more conservative judges and justices in place, the Judicial Branch might be moved further back toward neutrality. This has been and will continue to be a huge accomplishment, and has bought wiser Americans more time to prepare.

Seems to me that in 2016 it was the Pink Pussy Hat wearing "ladies" and the car burning ANTIFA bois that were not committed to a peaceful transferal of power.
There is nothing to rebuke, plainly the Democrats have been threatening to fight the election result.
How can you rebuke someone you have never supported?
Really. Maybe President Trump is just a lot smarter than you and knows far more about strategy and tactics than people like you will ever know.
