PARIS (AP) — Four people were wounded in a knife attack Friday near the former offices of satirical newspaper Charlie Hebdo in Paris, and two assailants are on the run, police said.
Associated Press reporters at the scene saw police flooding into the neighborhood in eastern Paris, near the Richard Lenoir subway station.
Police are “actively hunting” for the perpetrators and have cordoned off the area including the former Charlie Hebdo offices after a suspect package was noticed nearby, according to a police offical.

When France granted independence to Algeria, the government wouldn’t let the “Harkis” (Algerians who fought for France) leave with the “European French”; many French officers found ways to help them and their families escape so they wouldn’t face reprisals. That, along with the long colonial relationships with Muslim North and West Africa, had put a large Muslim population in France (10% of the population?) that will always be a security issue.
I wonder if the perps are those beautiful immigrants? You know that diversity is our strength. Multiculturalism is great! I better stop before I puke on my screen.
