What the hell are really trying to say? I am confused.
Salman seems to be following the lead of his son, Mohammed - who has quietly and not so quietly been getting rid of the old hardliner Wahhabists and terror supporters, to the point of arresting, imprisoning and most importantly *executing* members of the Saudi royal family. Interesting times over there.
A lot of this is probably driven by the younger, Western-educated and more Western-aligned set of the Saudi royals, who are reportedly increasingly vocal about conditions in their country.
