Your observations 1, 4, 6 and 7 don’t really apply to the Saudis.
2. Actually, that culture does appear to be slowly wasting away in KSA and a few other area states. The under-30 set seem to be moving more and more to a “Islamic In Name Only” much like most Americans are Christians In Name Only - going to church a few times a year at most, only generally observing some of the requirements, etc.
3. Yes, they still have Saudi royal family members that are doing so, but again the current Crown Prince is starting to imprison or even kill them in large numbers. Saudi financial support for terror is dropping precipitously.
5. No, but it can become Islam In Name Only. The numbers of under-30 Saudi that drink, eat pork and do all sorts of other Islamic mortal sins is getting to be ridiculous.

1. If the Persian Shia threat is still real, the Arab Sunni posture will remain in place. Arab = KSA, Jordan, UAE, Bahrain, and Yemen. Not sure about Oman.
4. The Muslim ummah in Europe and the U.S. are receiving funding, i.e. jihad $ from KSA.
6. Of course Sunni Islam (in particular KSA and UAE) is practicing taqiyah on Pope Francis.
7. The UAE are Arab Sunni Muslims. They will ally with KSA against the Persian Shia threat.

I have read the articles regarding MBS and his efforts to purge the faithful Muslim royal family members. I remain skeptical.
Not buying it that KSA is defunding worldwide jihad.

I have heard these stories for 20 years and no doubt it is going on. But in the ummah, when push comes to shove, the faithful Muslims have prevailed.
