Something about that bothers me too. A bit too much emotionality and “compassion”. Those qualities may be fine for an regular individual, but for a Supreme Court Justice I prefer someone that’s driven by the literal constitutional cold logic. I don’t want someone that melts too easily at every sob story before him/her.

For example I could see her going soft on illegal immigration.

All the white parents I've known who adopted black babies were conservative evangelical Christians.

I trust that demographic doesn't "bother" you, so I'll assume you personally know other "white-adopting-black" families whose politics do bother you?
