She was liked by the same folks who fiercely defended McCain and Mitt in 2008 and 2012, and the Freepers who used to kneel reverently before Bush/Cheney. Beyond those types of neocons and credulous sheeple in the GOP base, I don’t know any who saw “promise” in her.
