Mexico said Wednesday it will send 101 firefighters to the United States to help battle wildfires in California.
The country’s Environment Department said five teams of 20 trained, equipped firefighters from Mexico’s national forestry commission will work with the U.S. Forest Service.
They will be sent first to work in California’s Sequoia National Park. The park is threatened by the SQF Complex of fires ignited by lightning in the Sequoia National Forest.
The department said Mexico can spare the crews because in 31 of Mexico’s 32 states there are no active wildfires. The summer and early fall are rainy season in most of Mexico.

The article makes a point of saying that this particular fire was ignited by lightning. I'm not sure if that is meant to distinguish it from those set by Antifa/Democratic Party arson, or just an attempt to cover up for it.

And next maybe food donations and foreign aid to California from Mexico to their down and out California neighbors in the hemisphere? Look what Newsom and the Dem Uniparty have done.
These firefighters will dissappear once they are here.
Nah, you’re behind a bit. These guys have skills. And jobs in Mexico funding a nice lifestyle. No reason for them to stay in Calif, where living costs are 5X what they are in Mexico and where people have to live in their cars.
I should say that is cynical but you're probably right. What a great scam.
And even if not exactly that way they can appear on women's TV talk shows and have the audience in tears "The ICE agents are trying to jail as an illegal Miguel, who has a burn mark across his left shoulder from endangering his own life to come here to fight the forest fires Trump caused indirectly by his climate change inaction."

Yup. They sure as hell won’t be returning to Mexico. Hell, they’re not even going to fight the fires.
