This really doesn’t make sense. Postal workers have been caught from time to time discarding mail. A few of them have been caught discarding very large amounts of mail over a long period of time. But usually they conceal it. Tossing a few trays into a ditch along the side of a road is a “fire me” invitation.

Five years of federal time for the postal employee. Technically per piece; hopefully for the soon to be former employee those were delivery point sort trays and not pull downs from a rural case as if there's any accountables in there, the penalty goes up.

When you become an employee, you sign a statement acknowledging and accepting this penalty.

The other day I attempted to mail a package using an old USPS Priority Express box that I had. The USPS label was not Priority Express and I was told that they can’t accept it since the shipping label did not match what was printed on the box!! Apparently too confusing for the average postal worker!

It was all I could do to contain myself from getting a sharpie and crossing out “priority express’ on the box.

And for some people, it's too confusing to understand that the 'free' priority mail express box must be used with a priority mail express label. Buy your own box, put whatever label you want on it. Express boxes are paid for by people using priority mail express. It's not hard.

It cannot be said to many times: if you received a mail-in ballot, take it with you to the polls and vote in person. Then destroy the ballot, do not surrender it.

Spoke with a person yesterday that deals with the Postal Service... the D & R on the ballots thing is true. They have ZERO faith in the USPS or most postal workers in not destroying or just “losing” a lot of that mail... and he said if we went that route it would be lucky if we knew who was President by spring
