She wants to portray her vote as disproportionately important, making it disproportionately important to nominate a judge who is ideologically aligned with her, i.e. one who would uphold Roe vs. Wade.
To: RightGeek
Trumps Nominee will be confirmed with or without her vote.
I hope she votes to confirm. But her vote wont affect outcome.

As soon as it was known, I said in this forum that she had stupidly boxed herself in. What an idiot. Maybe Finekenstein will intimidate her in the senate hallway again.....

She is a very unremarkable person. The only time she gets any attention is times like these and she craves it, so expect her to flip flop back and forth and milk it for everything she can till the very end, then vote to confirm.

I'd love to have Sarah Palin (A current or former FR who's ID is known by just a few) chime in here and give us the 411 as to what this women in all about.
Their is something bigger about her that I can't put my finger on.
She's got her hands in on a lot of sub-committies:
* Nuclear
* Li-Ion Supply Base
* and immic Rare Earth Minerals.
Yes they all pertain to an EV Revolution, but their has got to be more.
Why? Alaska is full of Rare Earths, we need them, but why does she yield so much power, their is nothing that stands out about her, what is or who is the Alaskan power players and why do they own her, or does she have a power structure all her own?

I hope people here on FR don’t reverse their opinion of her in 2022. I know she’ll be difficult to primary, but this woman has got to go.
She is clearly a swamp member in good standing. Alaska can do soooooooo much better (HINT Gov. Palin if you’re reading this and are crazy enough to dive back into DC politics!!! :-) ).

I’m not sure how much of a reversal it was. Did she ever say she would vote against any nominee?
It seemed to me that her earlier statement was crafted to avoid commenting on how she would vote, while virtue-signaling on the concept of having a nomination.
