What Might Civil War Be Like? (From 2017 but more relevant than ever)
American Thinker ^ | E.M. Cadwaladr

Posted on 09/23/2020 3:30:47 AM PDT by RoosterRedux

The thought of Civil War has been in the minds of many people lately, on both sides of the political and cultural divide. This is not a thing to be wished for, though no one should kid themselves into believing it’s impossible either. Let us take a sober look at what such a conflict might entail.

To begin with, it would not look like the first American Civil War, which was essentially a war between two regions of the country with different economic interests. The divide created two separate countries, both initially contiguous, intact, and relatively homogeneous. The lines of demarcation now are only somewhat regional, and tend to correspond to differences between urban and rural populations, as well as differences of race and class. A second American Civil War would be much more similar to the Spanish Civil War, with the leftists dominating the cities and conservatives controlling the countryside. Conflicts of this nature, with enemies mixed geographically, are a formula for spontaneous mass bloodletting. India-Pakistan during the 1947 partition comes to mind as another modern example. Given an absence of legitimate government and the friction of proximity, ordinary people can be moved to settle grievances by killing one another without the need for governments to egg them on.

Some dimensions of a future civil war would be, I think, largely unprecedented. When lesser countries have imploded in violence in recent times, they have done so with most of the world around them still intact. There were other nations to offer aid, assistance and intervention, welcome or unwelcome. There were places for refugees to go. The collapse of the world’s remaining superpower would take much of the world down with it. A global economic crisis would be inevitable.

I don’t think our “leaders” will ever have the balls necessary to do it. They’ll call for calm and unity and have their private security force there to ensure they don’t get eaten by the mob...

I believe it would boil down to who controls the federal military.

That is laughable!! The standing army (of fags, little girls and LGBTs in their ranks) is only 800,000 on good day and wouldn't stand a chance against a provisional army of millions.

“Any war will be organized and highly regimented.”

And right now it appears the leftists are organized and regimented, as illustrated by antifa and BLM. AS are Soros’ groups.

Patriots are not, and they know it, after their recent tests.

It's a fool's errand to believe conservatives are the only ones armed and have served. See the NFAC group.

It is even more foolish to think the left will fight on terms that favor the rest of the country. How long will the suburbs and small towns hold out when a few mouse clicks shuts down their power grid?

Order your seeds now and make sure they are the open pollinated type.

The hybrid ones won’t breed true if they even produce viable seed at all.

CodeTode: " The left has also been joining the military at high rates, many specifically to gain combat training."

During the first Civil War roughly 1/3 of US officers joined the Confederate army, like RE Lee, about 1/3 were loser Democrats like McClellan and only 1/3 loyal, war winning Republicans like Grant.

No reason to think it would be different in a CWII.

The USA doesn’t do Sub Saharan Africa machete anarchy. Not in our nature. We will do para military militias and state sponsored armies.

Of all the people involved in that situation, only Kyle was charged by the DA.

The felon wielding a firearm, clearly shown on multiple videos, who was shot in the arm, has not been charged with possession of a weapon by a prohibited person. Also, who gave the gun to him, a prohibited person?

Not one count of arson in the whole mob.

Yep. CW II will see a level of violence we’ve never seen in our lifetimes.

Not quite. Patriots haven't started "protesting" yet.

Agreed, we're not pushing back - yet. So far we're keeping it civil, obeying the rule of law. However, when President Trump wins a second term I expect the leftists to up the ante.

When the leftists take it up a notch counter groups are going to start to organize to protect their homes, businesses, and neighborhoods. Eventually one of these emboldened anti-American leftist "protest" groups is going to run into one of the areas protected by patriots and the gloves are going to come off.

The media made a big deal about "flattening the curve" so as not to overwhelm hospitals with covid-19 patients. When these two groups meet the local hospitals are going to be overwhelmed with casualties - from the leftists side.

So how are we going to tell who is on which side? Should the left wear rainbow colors?

LOL! Good one.

That's going to be the challenge in CW II. I seriously doubt there will be uniforms and battle lines.

I don’t know who the Kenosha DA is and it is not worth my time to search for it but I would lay odds that the DA is just another ugly, angry black woman who slept her way through law school and had her political career funded by a Soros-based organization. There are way too many of those in the USA today.

I posted that article on my favorite liberal site. All I did was post it. They mocked me for being a CWII nut. Yest all I was doing was trying to point out that there is talk and, though I thought it was possible, it was unlikely until the 2020 election, depending on how crazy the left gets.

And yet, here we are.

I’ve said for almost 2 years that 2020 may be the last “normal election the US as we know it” the nation ever has. It is looking like it may have been 2016.

It would be a war between democrat controlled City States and the rest of the country.

It would take time for the patriots to gather and fight because the secessionists are localized in urban areas. But once patriots assemble, the clocks of the leftist a$$hats would be totally cleaned.

Factored in already. Not discussible in open forum.

Why would any sane person be against blue areas and entire blue states wanting to secede peacefully? Are you mad?
