I can't understand how anyone could vote for a man so obviously decrepit, even if that were the only reason.
That he won't commit to any policy, or answer any signficant question, or even make daily campaign appearances, is startling and without precedent in the modern era.

If he votes no, then Pence breaks the tie assuming the other two pubs vote no.
If any of the 3 abstain, then 50 will carry it without Pence.
If he votes yes on procedural grounds and no on the nominee, and the other two clowns vote no on procedural grounds and yes on the nominee then this thing won’t even be close.
Everybody who insists on having principles distinct from the party line can have a ribbon.

But I doubt he has anything against Amy Coney Barret, or whomever the President nominates.
Most likely, Romney sees this as a chance to prove he’s a good Republican - a ‘severe‘ conservative, in fact!
He’ll vote to confirm - unless Trump nominates his sister - then the Trump hate would kick in for sure, and he’d have to vote nay. :-)

many here argued for a 3rd party but i always promoted the idea of someone somehow hijacking the apparatus of the GOP without knowing who or how that could happen ... now we know ...
She wins on her dad's name with a large number of democrat votes. She was beaten in the R primary in 2010, only to win the general as a write-in with only 39%, largely dem votes.
This is one time Democrat agitprop worked in our favor.
Romney believes the loaded polls. He did during his own run, he thought he was behind the whole way (he actually led after the GOP Convention -- remember Eastwood? That actually helped him ) and after the 1st Debate (Romney led in Ohio for a week).
So Bishop Dullard thinks Trump is on his way out, and also that he, Mittens, is about to become a junior Senator in a minority Senate caucus. Neither of which are true but hey, a winning ticket on the floor is worth as much as a winning ticket in your hand.

There are two huge prayer events going on in DC this weekend, and people all over the country have been praying and planning for months in advance of these. They were to be just in general for revival and for our elections but now we see so much more the timing!
God knew the number of days in RBGs life but the organizers ( Franklin Graham and others) couldn’t have known. It is amazing to me to see how this is been orchestrated by God. Praising God for his mercy now, this may save our country from a Marxist takeover in these elections and maybe turn the tide of evil. We must keep praying for widespread repentance , true repentance and revival! To God be the glory! Depending on Him to help us!
