On Monday night, The Daily Show with Trevor Noah welcomed Dr. Fauci onto the program to try to cut through the noise. And Dr. Fauci, who’s served as director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases since 1984, addressed how the Trump administration had turned mask-wearing and the prospect of reopening the country into a partisan debate.
“Public health measures should be more of a gateway and a pathway to opening the country as opposed to the obstacle to opening the country,” explained Dr. Fauci. “So what has evolved now is that people almost take sides, like wearing a mask or not is a political statement, and that’s really very unfortunate—totally unfortunate—because this is a purely public health issue. It should not be one against the other.”
“I think the confused messages that you’re alluding to [from Trump and the CDC] correctly and appropriately is you don’t have a single message when messages get thrown into political buckets, and that’s something that I really wish that conversations like you and I are having now would dispel that.”

‘This was important enough that I wanted to get it out immediately. My research into the NCBI database for nucleotide sequences has lead to a stunning discovery. One of the WHO primer sequences in the PCR test for SARS-CoV-2 is found in all human DNA!
The sequence “CTCCCTTTGTTGTGTTGT” is an 18-character primer sequence found in the WHO coronavirus PCR testing protocol document. The primer sequences are what get amplified by the PCR process in order to be detected and designated a “positive” test result. It just so happens this exact same 18-character sequence, verbatim, is also found on Homo sapiens chromosome 8! As far as I can tell, this means that the WHO test kits should find a positive result in all humans. Can anyone explain this otherwise?

There are still fundamental unknowns about the nature of the corona virus and how to deal with it. Almost every assertion made is partly opinion. Nature of the beast right now.
My husband and I got instant covid tests yesterday. We’re flying home to MA. and don’t want to take the chance that some bureaucrat, at the airport, will stop us and demand to know our status. Within 15 minutes we had taken the test and were shown the results. It wasn’t a free test but easy (finger prick) and quick.
