OK, that's one of the question-mark Senators making it clear he'll do the right thing.

We need to hear definitive statements from Chuck Grassley, Ben Sasse, Susan Collins, and Mitt Romney

Any Republican senator who doesn’t vote to affirm Trump’s nominee can kiss their ass goodbye. It will not be forgotten or forgiven.

What is Grassley’s problem?

Is he one of the posers who play Mr. Conservative until events like this pull down his fig leaf?

This gives them a great chance to get that much needed conservative, strict constitutionalist on the Supreme Court and retain the White House and the Senate. We can’t afford to blow it.

Well gee...that’s might white of you Lindsey. Should the President kiss your ring to seal the deal?

Susan Collins will be committing political suicide if she goes against a nominee. Isn’t Ben Sasse very pro-life? Don’t think Grassley will be a problem. Romney? I’ll join any demonstration against him that involves tar and feathers and pitch forks if he votes against a nominee.

I don't think any of them will not confirm. All of them realize leaving a 4-4 court in place is dangerous and not what our forefathers intended.

Best to keep your definitive statements to yourself except within the party.

If Mitch and Lindsey pull this off, they will be my new heroes. Graham in particular is in the middle of his toughest reelection battle, and he will have to stop campaigning to run the Judiciary Committee hearings. As for Mitch, beginning with killing the nomination of Merrick Garland, he has done more to move the courts back in our direction than anyone could have predicted.

Graham's tweets #4 and #5 sound like he expects to lose his reelection. Is he doing that bad? He briefly became a "rock star" when he fought for Kavanaugh, so maybe these hearings will be better than any campaigning. It's possible that Trump, Mitch and Lindsey all know the Dems will overstep like they did with Kavanaugh, and tip the entire electorate to the right.

Every single Republican will line up to pledge fealty in this election year, institutional party vote.

I expect Grassley and Sasse to support Mitch. We have the tie breaker with Pence.

As I posted this morning, Graham really had no other choice.

Polls in South Carolina show that Graham has lost the trust and confidence of Independents, and he needs a crisis to try to win them back.

this outs Graham as projecting his fear of not getting re-elected. Per the poles as of yesterday’s news, he and his democrat challenger are virtually tied

Glad I bought a Powerball Ticket.

The Odds are swinging my way.

I doubted Linseed, but we still only have a 2 Vote Advantage in Committee. If just one GOP Vote flips we have a tie.

Not sure if that kills the Nomination..

That's for sure...Murkowski says she will not vote to confirm a justice “before the election. However, she arranged to be "not present" during the Kavanaugh confirmation vote. At least, she wasn't able to vote “no” when the chips were down... then... could be the case again...

Good. One chalk up another positive vote. We still have a few questions - Gardner, Collins, Earnest. We just need one of those to confirm and we can ram this through in October.

After this statement yesterday, Romney is studying up on a
plan that will allow him to vote against the nomination and
survive.

With the fine people of Utah in charge of his fate, it’s
pretty clear he could take a duce in the holy water and
they’d vote him back in with glee.

Can’t they see the man is just a fraud.
