Adoption of black kids is fine, but in my view her doing so appears to be an egregious example of virtue signaling which is behavior that doesn’t inspire much confidence in her “conservative” credentials.

Anyway to answer the implied question, yes they will try to destroy Judge Barrett; just the solitary fact that she's a devout Catholic is enough for them. They'll find a way to spin it into something resembling legalese, but that's the crux of the matter.
They will hate her and try to destroy her, and their right hand lead will be Judge Barrett's Catholicism.
Which makes her, or someone else exactly like her the perfect nominee, IMO.
