There is no way Senate Confirmation could happen before November 3rd. Had this happened in June, maybe. If Trump wins, this is going to be a fight that will make the Kavanaugh confirmation seem civilized.
It’s about motivating the base for November. A good pick will fire up the base and even bring Never Trumpers, who are considering voting for Biden back into the fold, and help motivate voters to vote for GOP Senate and House candidates.
Now, the choice is clear.
