As a teen, I had my first “real” kiss at the Rat Lake Barn Dance a bit farther south next to the Mississippi River.

Since I have been swimming in Lake Bemidji, and the Mississippi River runs through Lake Bemidji, maybe you could say I went swimming in the Mississippi River. 😁
