If this is upheld through the appeal process I’m thinking the state could be on the hook for billions of dollars in damages.Where would they get the money to pay the damages?

Well, as far as money to pay the damages, this would tie in with how the Democrat states want a federal bailout because of the virus shutdowns. They would simply ask for more money.

They’ll undoubtedly claim that because it’s a Federal court, the Feds are responsible for the payment.
