Donald Trump's ex-wife Ivana Trump has been branded a bigoted embarrassment for her 'disturbing' comments on US immigration today. Appearing on morning show Loose Women, she said she's very proud of her former partner, particularly for all he has achieved with immigration, insisting that all who migrate to America should enter legally. She went on to rant about US immigrants not dressing Americanly once in the country while accusing some of not having a job, or stealing and raping American women.
Viewers were outraged by her comments, with one calling the outburst 'disturbing', while another called the mother-of-three an 'embarrassing bigot'. When asked whether she is proud of her ex husband, she said, "Very proud, he was my husband of 15 years, I wish him all the best. I see he can do a great job, he is pro everything which I believe in. He is Republican and so am I. He has achieved so much - especially with immigration. I am an immigrant, and I have no problem with the immigrants, but they must come into the country legally and get a job and pay taxes like the rest of the Americans and just live and and be part of society."

Will also say it’s very, similar to what my German-born grandmother used to say. Her family came to this country in 1912. Was on the Atlantic a day behind the Titanic! Her father had to be here a full year and prove he has INCOME AND MEANS to support his family before they could follow him over. She, her mom, and 2 brothers left with $12 and a suitcase each. Also, the kids were not allowed to speak German any longer once here and were told...you are Americans now, you will speak English! Won’t even get into the quarantine that was required to make sure they were healthy.
People who don’t apply for, pay for, wait for and comply with the documents that make them immigrants are illegal aliens.
I hope that’s not Ivanka’s fate.
...and I work with a legal Mexican immigrant who got here @ 17 years of age. 56 yrs old now. He was sworn in as a citizen about 8 years ago and is extremely proud. He worked hard, got himself a masters, and is the senior administrator for an system in my I.T. department. He feels illegals are a slap in his face. He spent many thousands to get here with his family legally and wants to know if he ‘gets his money back’ should the gov’t decide to just ‘make the others legal for free’. I might add he supports Trump.

I’m sure she hopes that too.
A very straightforward view of immigration. There is no room for and no justification for those who simply skip over the border and choose to live purely on the good graces of their neighbors. If you come to America, come prepared to live by the rules already in place, don’t be trying to go around them or simply ignore them.
So do these “Loose Women” think I can drop into the UK without a passport or a visa, and demand free food, top-notch health care, free education, and loosey-goosey obedience to their laws? Or are they racists, too?
