I am retired real estate agent, all my adult children were encouraged to buy houses during my career. All three bought over the last 10 years and now all three of them have sold this year, for various reasons. They all have huge chunks of money they socked away from the equity and all of them are waiting till after the election to buy again, on my advice.

The most recent sale was my single daughter in Portland, OR. She sold it in a week for $50,000 over asking price, she put $80,000 in the bank and left Portland last week and is staying and working online in Montana for the next month. She might stay there. She said she was sick of feeling like she was living in a war zone, she could hear bombs and yelling and screaming every night from across the river!
